Assignment 16A – What’s Your Secret Sauce?
Assignment 16A – What’s
Your Secret Sauce?
Five ways in which I
think I have Human Capital:
- Goal-oriented: I pride myself on my ability to set a plan for
myself and be able to set these goals into motion. Once I start something,
I do not want to stop working towards it until I am happy with the outcome.
- Eagerness: My
eagerness to learn how to become better and my ability to reflect on
lessons allow me to grow as a person.
- Communication:
Due to the intense amount of writing I have done, I have learned to be able to express my ideas clearly on paper and orally. I can get in front of basically any audience with having little to no nerves.
- Perfectionism:
This is a blessing and a curse. I will try my hardest to make sure that every task or project I complete is as close to perfect as possible.
- Leadership: I
naturally tend to take control of a group and organize members to complete the task at hand. I have learned how to take into consideration other opinions and methods of completing tasks.

that people need to be focused and have good time management skills.
- If you could
describe me by one characteristic, what would it be?
.
You are
very positive and try to make the best out of every situation.
- What would you
consider being my most beneficial skill?
.
I think
you are very good at communicating and getting your point across.
- Is there any
event that you can recall me using my human capital?
You used your human capital this week during your
FLA interview.
Reflection:
I think that the interviews
lined up with what I thought about myself. It gave me new ideas as to what
exactly counts as human capital and showed me what human capital I possess.
From these interviews, I now know some capital that I can work to gain such as
more job experience, for the future.
Hi Mady!
ReplyDeleteI am a fellow perfectionist and I can attest that it is both a blessing and a curse. I always do my best to make sure everything is done to the best of my ability, but oftentimes I struggle with feeling like a failure when things don't get done exactly how I would like them to. Although I don't know you personally, all of the qualities you used to describe yourself are very telling of how hard you work and how much you care.
Hi Mady. I think that all of the qualities that you listed about yourself are terrific qualities for a successful business person. I too can relate to being a perfectionist and the fact that it can be a blessing and a curse. You just have to come to accept that everything will not always go perfectly and learn to be happy with giving your best effort regardless of the result. I think you sound very strong and determined and will be successful in whatever endeavor you undertake.
