Assignment 22A- Elevator Pitch 3

Feedback reflection:
I feel like I did not receive that many pointers or places of improvement from the people who left feedback. One piece of advice that I did notice was that I did not include statistics that reached my entire market. This contradicted another piece of advice where someone said to include local statistics too so that UF students could relate more. Overall, I personally looked back on my videos to try to improve the presentation aspects of the pitch.

What did I change?
Since I did not have that much feedback to change things off of, I took the responsibility to myself. I noticed that y second elevator pitch was almost two minutes long, so I shortened it by taking out unnecessary sentences. I also wanted to focus on my presentation this time. I dressed up in more professional clothes and tried to focus on the range and tone of my voice. I wanted to seem more engaged than in other posts. Overall, I shortened and attempted to improve the presentation of my pitch.

  1. Hi Mady,
Great job on your pitch! I can tell you have worked to improve your pitch since the first time and that you've become more comfortable and engaged in your delivery. I love that you dressed professionally this time because it really makes the whole pitch feel more legit and professional. My only suggestions would be to use your hands/hand gestures even more and to focus on your facial expressions (smile more/look happy) to help your audience connect with you even more. Overall, amazing job!

  2. Hi Mady! I thought you did a great job on your presentation! You really emphasized why your product could be useful not only at UF, but across most college campuses. Your 3-in-1-lock and tracker system would definately enhance security on scooters and bikes, something that could dramatically reduce theft in Gainesville. Overall, I really liked how you were confident and able to convey exactly why people should purchase your product. Next time you could also incorporate hand gestures to engage the audience even further!

  3. I noticed you are more confident in front of the camera now. I enjoyed your description of the product and how you gave a cost associated with it. The statistics are Gainesville based (which makes sense for this class) but if you were to pitch it again, maybe add statewide statistics if possible. Great job on your pitch I enjoyed it.
